Lunch café Basta on the Voorstreek in Harlingen is located in an old building. Fortunately, the Café still has the authentic facade. You can enjoy the beautiful buildings and canals in the middle of Harlingen.It is cozy, informal and the service is top notch. The food is simple and good for an affordable price.There is some overdue maintenance, but that is largely outweighed by the good atmosphere.Price/quality is excellent.Recommended for a nice lunch, yes!

People are very friendly and it is nice to relax on the terrace under the trees at 26 degrees.There is a fresh bowl of water for the dog, which our Suka really liked, especially when the owner came out and asked us if she could have a dog biscuit.
